Havant, Bedhampton and Warblington Stations: Guide
Facilities, ticket office hours, parking and step-free access at Havant, Bedhampton and Warblington stations, as listed by National Rail in October 2026.
Havant (PO9 1PP) is the main station, run by South Western Railway, with a ticket office, lifts, step-free access to all platforms and 492 parking spaces per National Rail. Bedhampton and Warblington are smaller stations with limited ticket office hours and no parking.
Which railway stations serve Havant?
Havant Borough Council says the borough has four railway stations, and three of them are in or beside the Havant area: Havant, Bedhampton and Warblington. The details below come from the National Rail station pages, checked on 5 October 2026. Station opening hours, staffing and parking can change, so use the live pages linked here before you travel. The fourth borough station, Emsworth, is nearby but outside Havant town.
Havant station: the main one
Havant (HAV) is at North Street, Havant, PO9 1PP, and National Rail lists it as managed by South Western Railway. It is the busiest and best equipped of the three, and it sits close to the bus station: Havant Borough Council says the railway station is at the other end of Market Parade from Havant bus station, with signs in both directions. Our Havant buses guide covers the local routes.
National Rail lists a ticket office open Monday to Friday 5:40am to 7:55pm, Saturday 5:40am to 7:55pm and Sunday 7:10am to 8:40pm, plus ticket machines. Staff help is listed as 5am to 10:30pm Monday to Saturday and 6:30am to 10:30pm on Sundays, and there are help points and a helpline. Hours can be changed for engineering work or staffing, so check the page on the day.
Facilities listed for Havant include a sheltered waiting area, seating, toilets (including accessible toilets and Changing Places toilets), baby changing, public Wi-Fi, refreshments, CCTV, customer information screens and an induction loop. National Rail also lists bicycle storage.
Is Havant station step-free?
National Rail gives Havant step-free category B1, which it describes as step-free access to all platforms, which may be reached by long or steep ramps or via streets. There are lifts, and Passenger Assistance meeting points are available. The platforms are level with the main entrance of the station, with tactile warnings on all platforms in use. If you need help on the day, National Rail's Passenger Assist page explains how to book assistance.
Parking at Havant station
National Rail lists 492 parking spaces at Havant station, including 16 accessible parking spaces, and a drop-off and pick-up point. It does not publish prices on the station page, so check the charges on the car park signs or with the car park operator. For town centre parking more generally, see our Havant parking guide.
Bedhampton station
Bedhampton (BDH) is at West Street, Bedhampton, PO9 1LL, and is also managed by South Western Railway. National Rail lists a ticket office open Monday to Friday 6:45am to 9:45am and Saturday 10am to 1pm, with no Sunday opening, plus ticket machines. Staff help is listed as unavailable, though a helpline and help points are available.
It is step-free category B2, meaning some step-free access to all platforms, and there are no lifts. National Rail lists no parking spaces and no accessible parking spaces at Bedhampton, and it lists a sheltered waiting area but no seating area or refreshments. Public Wi-Fi and CCTV are listed. For the village, see our Bedhampton area page.
Warblington station
Warblington (WBL) is at Southleigh Road, Warblington, PO9 2QD, and National Rail lists it as managed by Southern. The ticket office is listed Monday to Friday 7:45am to 9:15am only, with no Saturday or Sunday opening, and there are ticket machines. Staff help follows the same weekday morning hours.
National Rail gives it step-free category C, which means no step-free access to platforms, and there are no lifts. It lists no parking, no sheltered waiting area and no public Wi-Fi, but it does list seating, CCTV, customer information screens and a helpline. Help points are only available in limited locations. See our Warblington and Denvilles area page for the neighbourhood.
Which operators run the trains?
National Rail lists South Western Railway as the station operator at Havant and Bedhampton, and Southern at Warblington. We do not quote destinations, frequencies or journey times here, because they change with each timetable. Use National Rail live departures for a station, or the journey planner on the South Western Railway or Southern websites, to see which trains call where. Not every train stops at every station, so check before relying on a smaller stop.
Getting to the stations without a car
Havant station is the easiest to reach by bus, because the bus station is a short walk away along Market Parade according to the council. Havant Borough Council also points to National Rail's real-time information for the borough's four stations and to its transport overview, which links to a cycling journey planner. National Rail lists a drop-off and pick-up point at all three stations. If you commute by car instead, see our A27 and A3(M) commuting guide.
