State schools in Havant, Bedhampton, Leigh Park and Warblington

These are the state-funded schools that Ofsted's reports service and Get Information about Schools list in Havant, Bedhampton and Leigh Park, with Ofsted outcomes as published on 5 October 2026. All are in the Hampshire County Council area. We do not rank schools or give opinions, and we have not checked independent schools. Each school name links to its Ofsted page.

One thing to know before reading the grades. Ofsted says that from September 2024 it no longer gives an overall effectiveness judgement for state-funded schools, so recent reports list separate areas instead. Its newer report cards use five levels: exceptional, strong standard, expected standard, needs attention and urgent improvement. Older reports still show Outstanding, Good, Requires Improvement or Inadequate.

How to apply for a school place

Admissions for Hampshire schools go through Hampshire County Council. As published in September 2026, applications for Year 7 entry in September 2027 close on 31 October 2026, with offers on 1 March 2027, and Reception applications for September 2027 close on 15 January 2027. Apply through Hampshire County Council's admissions pages, where you rank your preferences, and check the council page for the latest dates. Each school's own admissions policy explains how places are allocated.

Infant and junior schools are separate in much of Havant, so children usually move on at the end of Year 2. Check how that works with the council and the schools. Term dates are in our term dates guide.
